Mr. Tarek Choufani signs Strategic Agreement to form a $1 billion JV Fund with Beijing Asia-America United Investment Group.

Mr. Tarek Choufani, Managing Director of CAG Funds Group, signs Strategic Agreement with Beijing Asia-America United Investment Group Co., Ltd. to form a 1 billion US Dollar joint venture fund that will invest in cross-border M&A. Beijing Asia-America United Investment Group Co. is established in China by Mr. Neil Bush (respectively brother and son of former U.S. presidents George W. Bush and George H. W. Bush) and Mrs. Su Mei. Its focus is on capital management and operating a professional investment platform with a primary focus on M&A. CAG Funds will leverage its investor network in the GCC and raise a 500 million USD fund in conjunction with Beijing Asia-America United Investment Group Co. Chinese investors under a joint fund vehicle. The JV Fund will invest in M&A in the U.S. and Europe with a China exit, selling assets to Chinese IPO firms or listing directly. Target sectors are advanced education and health services.
